Tenure-track Position Opening in Information Systems

Applications are invited for one tenure-track position at the full professor or associate professor level. Candidates should have a doctorate in information systems, including computer information systems and management information systems. Candidates are expected to demonstrate excellence in both research and teaching. The new faculty member’s responsibilities will include leading the undergraduate degree program in computer information systems as well as teaching courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. The support for this position will include low teaching loads, competitive salary, and generous start-up funds. Candidates from all research areas are welcomed.

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering is in the College of
Engineering and Computing and offers bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees. The Department has 21 full-time faculty members (nine of whom are NSF CAREER award recipients), an undergraduate enrollment of 424 students, a graduate enrollment of 88 students, and over $1.8 million in annual research expenditures. New leadership in the College has made growth of the Department a high priority.
