Always wanted to join the Incubator? Well here’s your chance!
Graduation from the Incubator is a time to celebrate the success of companies who are ready to transition from the Incubator environment and into the business community. As part of this year’s annual event scheduled for August 14th, we would like to showcase the full circle of business development through the introduction of The Pitch competition. The winner receives one year of FREE space/services from the Incubator and runner up gaining one year FREE membership as an Affiliate company. Accepting applications from the entire region, the Incubator staff will narrow the prospects to two highly qualified finalists. Once selected, the final two will undergo coaching in preparation for their live pitch during the Incubator’s Graduation Ceremony, at which the audience will be the final judges and select the winner!

The State newspaper has a story about TerraStride, a local app company made possible by our students.
The HuntStand business concept won the school’s business plan competition in 2011, taking the prize for both Best New Business Concept and Best Presentation. Shortly after, Holloway went to the computer science department at USC’s School of Engineering and recruited four computer science doctoral candidates who were interested in the concept.
The team has grown and changed since then and the concept has adapted to focus more on web-based mapping solutions that would have more applications than just hunting. He subsequently switched the company name to TerraStride to broaden the market.Note that, there is no such thing as "USC’s School of Engineering", there is only the College of Engineering & Computing.
