Across the United States and Canada, universities and colleges are facing a significant increase in enrollment in both undergraduate computer science (CS) courses and programs. The current enrollment surge has exceeded previous CS booms, and there is a general sense that the current growth in enrollment is substantially different than that of the mid-1980s and late 1990s. Generation CS: CS Enrollments Surge Since 2006 reports the survey results with respect to majors, nonmajors, diversity, impact on academic units, and units’ actions in response to the surge.

Startup Looking for Help

I have initiated a tech startup for a new social media app, that we have been working on for a couple years. We are nearing completion and need to do a UI overhaul. We have been approached my angel investors and VC's talking 7 figure funding. AS exciting as this is we are trying to get to project completion before losing these potential investments. Our CBO is a graduate from USC and I have been approved through HandShake. I am a mapping manager for the DoD and have employed interns through the geography department over the past couple years. I spoke with Mr. Beasely as the Incubator yesterday and he mentioned reaching out directly to the department, hence my inquiry.
