Trends 2014: The Internet of Things

IT-oLogy, in partnership Connected Nation and ITs|SC, is excited to host Gartner, one of the world’s leading information technology research and advisory companies, on Thursday, November 6, 2014 for Trends 2014.

The annual day long conference is centered on emerging trends in technology. This years’ topic will be the Internet of Things (IoT). Gartner says that by 2020, the world will have about 26 BILLION network-connected devices that measure and monitor nearly every human activity.

The day will open with Gartner research director, Al Velosa on “Creating the Internet of Things (IoT): Business Models, Architectures and Ecosystems.” Following will be a series of presentations that will further explore how IoT will impact many industry verticals.

Trends 2014 is tailored towards bringing key leaders and executives together to network, build intellectual capacity and to discuss emerging trends in technology. This is the fourth year the conference has been presented.
