This position will support the technical needs of all DLSS units to including the administration and support of DLSS databases as well as functioning as the department’s Webmaster and social media administrator. Additionally the position will assist faculty in the DLSS Course Production Suites with various aspects of online course production including lecture capture, creation of transcriptions and closed captioning and the editing and posting of lecture videos. Bachelor’s degree and 1 year computer operations or related experience, or associate’s degree and 3 years experience, or equivalency. Experience in database administration and web design. Experience in developing IT based solutions for an organization responsible for planning, marketing and initiating programs and services. Ability to communicate with faculty and work with limited supervision. Ability to exercise judgment and discretion in applying policies and procedures, evaluating situations and responding appropriately.
