REsimplifi is an OEM commercial real estate process and document management product built on the platform (Salesforce).  Our product has been deployed and we are looking for a recent graduate to act as a generalist developer. Strong JavaScript experience and good front end skills are a plus. Also, the applicant should be excited about coding and learning development on the (Salesforce) platform. Some project management with overseas developers will also be required. We’re an energetic and hard-working group located in the USC Technology Incubator. The position would be full-time. A monthly health insurance stipend will be provided (along with a monthly bring-your-own device stipend). Responsibilities
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
  • Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end services
  • Collaborate with other team members
  • On-Board new clients to ensure successful adoption
  • Support Sales Team as a technical resource in Sales Calls
  • Meet deadlines and communicate status of builds with management team
Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of JavaScript, its quirks, and workarounds
  • Basic understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3
  • Good understanding of JavaScript libraries and frameworks such as AngularJS, KnockoutJS, BackboneJS, ReactJS, DurandalJS etc.
  • Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
  • Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around such issues
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as {{Git / Mercurial / SVN}}
  • Good understanding of browser rendering behavior and performance
  • Real estate or Financial Services experience helpful (but not required)
  • Experience with continuous integration and/or environment management
  • programming experience is not required (but a willingness to learn is a must)
