Open IT Lab at IT-ology
The following is a lecture sponsored by the OpenIT Lab located at IT-ology. Professors and students are invited to a special event at IT-oLogy next Thursday, October 4. Eben Upton, founder and architect of the incredibly popular Raspberry Pi, will speak and be available to take questions. This is a great opportunity to meet Mr. Upton while he is in the U.S. and learn more about the technology itself. What: Eben Upton, founder and trustee of the Raspberry Pi Foundation and the person responsible for the overall software & hardware architecture of the Raspberry Pi device, will visit the Open IT Lab, take a tour and meet with visitors, and will lecture on the Raspberry Pi. The Raspberry Pi is a credit card sized single board computer developed in the UK with the intention of stimulating the teaching of basic computer science in schools.
