Emailing Questions
Whenever there is a question about an assignment or lecture, then please email the instructor (shephejj @ cse. sc. edu) along with the Graduate and Undergraduate TA for your section. You can find your section in either my.sc.edu or in Blackboard, and it is indicated by “CSCE 145-###” where the “###” is the section. We will answer every question as soon as possible.
Email Requirements Regarding Your Code
Questions about code are common, and in
order to answer these questions quickly and effectively, we require the
following information to be included in the email. If any
part of this information is incorrect or incomplete, then we will not be able
to assist or issue any kind of make-up work.
1. Course and Section. For example, CSCE145-005 or CSCE146-SL1.
2. The specific name of the assignment. For example, Homework02, LabReport00, or LabSolution05.
3. All source code (.java file extensions) sent as an attachment.
4. A copy of the error (screenshot or text), if applicable.
5. Besides sending an email and watching the virtual lecture, at least 3 steps involved in solving the problem.

*Every email is assumed to be “@email.sc.edu”.
**Sections with a “+” are combined sections for the Lab QA sessions, but they
are separate in Blackboard. For instance, Section 001 and Section 008 meet at
the same time and location but are two separate sections in Blackboard.
