Current Research:

Recent advances in the areas of Computational Biology and Bioinformatics has precipitously increased the involvement of computational scientists in the process of intelligent drug design. Computational approaches to elucidation of protein structures and dynamics provide many advantages over the contemporary approaches. Significant reduction in cost, speedy discovery and in-silico experimentation can be cited as three such impetuses. My research includes studying a wide selection of proteins including Vpu (a protein from HIV), Pf1 (coat protein of a bacteriophage), FXYD (a protein involved in the process of apoptosis) and more.
