Manager needs someone who has at least 1-2 years of work experience, not just the IT degree. Prefers someone who has been a jack-of-all-trades since they’ll be working with Windows Server, networking, Unix, Linux, Java, etc. Does not have to have programmed in Java but needs to be able to look at Java and JavaScript code to access issues. Analyze application problems and recommend workable solutions. Provide on-call support when required. Monitor system performance and notify more experienced personnel of issues that arise. Execute jobs that emulate web or CRM application processing. Provide Tier II support for user and system problems. Monitor system performance in real-time as well as via reports. Provide 24/365 on-call support for overall performance concerns. Analyze statistical reporting.
