About me

I am a PhD candidate at the Computer Science Department of the University of South Carolina. My areas of interest are: Multi-Agent Systems, Bio-Inspired Systems, Service Oriented Computing, Semantic Web, Distributed Sensor Networks, and Robotics. Currently I'm research assistant (my research advisor is Dr. José Vidal ), but I have also been teaching some computer sciences courses. Follow the links  to know more about me...

Current research

I'm interested in the study, analysis, and design of incentive-compatible peer-to-peer protocols for distributed resource allocation. These mechanisms that we call "negotiation networks" bring together the social sciences like Economics and Sociology with Computer Science. Many real applications, for example, distributed combinatorial auctions, automated supply chain, incentive-compatible routing mechanisms, etc.
