Program in Information Assurance and Security
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE)
offers a Graduate
Certificate Program in Information Assurance and Security
(IA&S). The certificate program has been designed for
Information Technology (IT) professionals who have a bachelor of science in
computer science, computer engineering, or a closely related field; or have
been working in the field for several years. IA&S courses have been
evaluated by the Committee on National Security Systems (CNSS) and the National
Security Agency (NSA) and certified to meet the National Training Standard for
Information Systems Security Professionals, NSTISSI No. 4011,
4013 and 4014 Advanced. For further information about the IA&S
educational and research activities at the CS&E department visit the Web
site of the Center for
