Foreign Language Demonstration of proficiency in one
foreign language equivalent to passing the 122 exit exam is required.
Proficiency is normally demonstrated by a placement score of 4 in the phase I placement
exam and a sufficient score on the phase II placement exam or by taking the
required courses through the 122 exit exam. Up to 6 hours of credit in the
language used to satisfy the foreign language requirement through the 122 level
will count as liberal arts credit.
