The mother temporarily abandoned her babies, which were about 10 inches long.
We believe these are gray foxes - they are seen frequently in the neighborhood,
which is quite wooded, in spite of being downtown.
Apparently two broods from two distinct mothers were involved (notice the different sizes of the babies). |
