Dr. Bakos's research interests involve computer architecture at the
circuit-level, microarchitectural-level, and system-level. This includes
VLSI design, computer aided design automation, chip-level and system-level
networks/interconnects, reconfigurable computing, high-performance
computing, and integrated smart sensor technology.
